Give the Gift of Science with help from Discovery Place

Emphasize the role science plays in our lives with these STEM gifts.

This year, the importance of science is being showcased on a global level like never before, and Discovery Place is all about emphasizing the role science plays in our lives.

With a mission of inspiring the next generation of STEM professionals and world problem-solvers, Discovery Place Science in uptown soon will host a special pop-up shop at the Museum. The shop will feature a variety of science-related items that are both educational and fun.

“While we were able to reopen our museums in September after a six-month closure, the gift shop at Discovery Place Science has remained closed,” said Discovery Place’s Heather Norton. “But we did not want to miss this opportunity during the gift-giving season to provide a place for shoppers to get all their science-related presents for loved ones.

“Now more than ever, we need to encourage a love of science in our community.”

The best gift of all
Of course, the best way to spread a love of science is through a Gift Membership to Discovery Place. Filled with enriching activities that bring the whole family closer, a Membership is the best way to experience all that our Museums have to offer. Plus, Members are invited to special events and exclusive exhibition openings as well as receive discounts on Birthday Parties, Camps and other programs.
An added bonus of purchasing a Membership? Members receive a 20% discount at the pop-up shop! For more information about Membership opportunities, visit the website or call 704.372.6261, ext. 354.
